I was fortunate to meet Jimmy when he was with The Nighthawks. I remember the first time I met him he was playing a really cool, vintage Silvertone, (one of the old black and white ones from the 60's) that he had borrowed from a shop in Frederick, MD.  I also remember when him and Jimmy Hall left the Nighthawks, J.N told me he had a gig lined up with one of the Marsalis brothers. So sad to learn of his passing.  R.I.P.

Hey Jimmy! I worked with Bud Becker back in your Penny Arcade days, and hung out at the house on Jefferson Street listening to you noodling on your white Telecaster I believe. I'm going to have to get some of your later music, have heard some of the James Taylor and Sea Level stuff a long time ago. Hope you are well, and wish you all the best.
